While walking on the surface of a frozen lake in Sweden, a moose stepped onto thin ice and went under, struggling to get back out again. Luckily, some locals noticed the poor animal floundering in the icy water and came to its rescue.

As the author of the video explained, the moose couldn’t get out by itself, so the Swedes put on their ice skates, equipped themselves with axes and, half an hour later, managed to chop a wide enough passage in the ice for the moose to swim to the shore safely.
